My wife and I were vacationing in Negril Jamaica when we met a couple who had been using Light Travels and particularly Joslynne Light for their travel agent. After returning... READ MORE home we decided to plan a return trip to Jamaica. I decided to try Joslynne's travel agency. From the first call I felt like I was not only talking a person who wanted to sell me a service, but a friend. She was very personable and professional. We have since talked, as she has booked several vacations and cruises for me. I feel as we're old friends. On a vacation I had booked myself we ran into some issues. The resort took care of us and actually comped us some nights. We decided to add some days to the comp at the resort, and also move to a resort in Montego Bay for the last two nights so we would be close to the airport. We had never done a split stay, but Joslynne suggested it as a good way to enjoy a two week stay in Jamaica. We're glad we did as it is nice to have a ten-minute drive to the airport instead of a 90-minute drive. Joslynne arranged the comp stay and the extra nights at the first resort and the stay at the second resort in addition to the private transfer between resorts. Basically, four reservations. We also bought a great annual travel insurance policy through her. This trip was scheduled for February 2021. Then came the travel restrictions which were to go into effect in late January. I called Joslynne on January 11 and told her that I wanted to switch our dates to January 15. In less than two days she switched three resort reservations, changed our private transfer arrangements and had our insurance policy canceled and reissued to start before the January 15 departure date. Amazing. While we were on vacation, she checked on us, and when we wanted to have our car pick us up early to transfer us to our second resort, she made the change with the car service in less than 30 minutes. She made a difficult situation painless for us, and turned a stressful situation into a great vacation. We have since booked other vacations and cruises with her and she is the only travel agent we will use. We also recommended her to our daughter and son-in-law and she took great care of them. If you want an agent that truly cares about you enjoying your travels, I would only recommend Joslynne Light and Light Travels.
