Pick Your Island

Dominican Republic
Punta Cana has long beaches, many large resorts and good flight options, which makes it easy for big groups.

Jamaica
Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios, with music, food and a lively, welcoming feel.
St. Lucia
The Pitons, rainforest and smaller, romantic resorts. A favorite for intimate weddings and honeymoons.

Aruba
Dry, sunny weather much of the year and calm west-coast beaches, outside the main hurricane belt.
CURAÇAO
Curaçao Destination Weddings
Curaçao is a quieter choice than the bigger island hubs. Willemstad’s colorful waterfront makes a beautiful backdrop for photos, and the island’s small bays have calm, clear water for swimming and snorkeling.
Like Aruba, Curaçao sits south of the main hurricane belt, and it’s dry much of the year. Flights usually connect through a U.S. hub, so we plan guest travel early.

When to Go
December to April
Usually the driest, most popular stretch for weddings. Book early for the best dates.
May and early June
Warm weather and often fewer crowds before hurricane season starts.
Hurricane season
June 1 to November 30, peaking August to October. Aruba and Curaçao are south of the main track. We recommend travel insurance for every guest.
Getting There From New England
Punta Cana and Montego Bay usually have the most options from Boston, with some seasonal flights from Portland. St. Lucia, Aruba and Curaçao usually need a connection. Schedules change from season to season, so we check flights for your dates before you pick a resort.

WEDDING REVIEWS
What Our Couples Say

★★★★★
75 Person Wedding @ Kukua, Punta Cana!
“I first found Joslynne when I was reserving a room for a friend’s wedding in Jamaica. … It was the best decision we had made. She perfectly executed organizing 75 people to stay at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana (hotel, flights, and airport transfers). … Joslynne locked in INCREDIBLE pricing and even fought for additional discounts just weeks prior to departure. … Light Travels is our go to for any and all vacations. They have your back through and through.”
